Reginald Arkell (1881 - 1959) wrote those poems to be situated in the British Public Schools Alpine Sports Club who had there HQ in Mürren (BE) Switzerland. With Poems like Achtung or Do not mention it at Mürren and Never laugh at a Scotsman. Die humoristischen Reime drehen sich vorallem um die Wintersport Ferien in der Schweiz. Mürren, Kandersteg aber auch St. Moritz werden mit Schenkelklopfer Englischer Art beehrt!
